Returns

We want you to enjoy your shopping experience with ADARA and to love the items you receive! But we understand that sometimes your purchase may not be right for you and that you may wish to return it. Please contact us at info@adara.ie for instructions on how goods can be returned to us.

You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receipt of your order for full price items. The item must be returned within 14 days and received back by us. There is no refunds on sales items - online vouchers can be issued. All you need to do is let us know in writing via email at info@adara.ie that you intend to return the goods supplied by us, and to receive instructions on how to return the goods. You must contact us prior to returning an item in order. We ask that goods be returned complete, unused and in their original as new condition, with all accessories and instructions. We ask that the original packing be returned in its original condition. You shall bear the cost of returning the goods.  We advise you use a tracked, insured service, as you are responsible for the goods until they are received by us.    

Once we receive the Goods back, we’ll reimburse you within 14 days less the cost of postage. Any Ireland or UK returns are liable for the post and packing costs of the original order and this amount will be deducted from the refund amount (this includes orders where free or subsidised postage applied).  

Note the cost of postage usually is greater than the postage amount charged to the customer (e.g. our postages costs in Ireland is 6euro and within the UK is 11euro- with the exemption of small items) and the customer is liable for the cost price of postage and packaging when returning an item.  We strive to offer cost effective P&P rates so we subsidise them- only in the case of returns does the customer bare the full cost of this.  

Refunds will be processed automatically in the currency you paid in. You can checkout in EUR, GBP or USD.  If you opt to checkout in a currency different to your bank or paypal account- please note currency fluctuations are highly likely and the refunded amount may be higher or lower than the original amount paid.  We are not responsible for any shortfall relating to currency fluctuations between time of order and time of refund.   

We are not responsible for any import tax/VAT, this is your obligation to pay.

I want to cancel my order. How can I do this?

We know that sometimes you can change your mind. So, your order can be cancelled within one hour of the order being placed. Please email info@adara.ie and put in the subject line cancel my order with your order number. We will email to confirm the cancellation. After one hour your order is no longer eligible to be canceled. But don’t worry—you can return the items for any reason.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that a product you purchase from us is faulty or damaged, it can of course be returned to us for a full refund or replacement. In respect of faulty or damaged goods, you must notify us in writing by email at info@adara.ie within 7 days of receipt to receive instructions on how to return faulty goods to us. Please ensure you contact us prior to returning.

Any faults for whatever reason are not noticed right away must be reported to us within one month if receipt (e.g. in the case of a gift).  Any issues with products relating to wear and tear will not be refunded.

Customer Returned Damaged Item - No Refund Policy

At Adara, we take pride in providing our customers with high-quality products and services. We understand that sometimes situations may arise where a customer returns an item that has been damaged; however, we have established a policy regarding such returns:

1. Inspection upon Receipt

a. Immediate Inspection: Upon receiving a returned item, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to assess the condition of the product.

b. Damage Assessment: If we find that the item has been returned in a damaged or altered condition that is beyond normal wear and tear or not consistent with the reason for the return, we reserve the right to decline a refund.

2. Notification to the Customer

a. Communication: In the event that we cannot provide a refund due to the returned item being damaged, we will promptly notify the customer of our decision.

b. Photographic Evidence: We may provide photographic evidence of the damage as part of our communication to the customer.

3. Options for the Customer

a. Return of the Damaged Item: If the customer wishes to have the damaged item returned to them, we will arrange for its return at the customer's expense.

b. Disposition of the Item: If the customer chooses not to have the damaged item returned or does not respond within a reasonable time frame, we will dispose of the item.

4. Explanation

a. Transparency: We will provide a clear explanation to the customer regarding the reasons for not issuing a refund in cases where the item has been returned in a damaged condition.

5. Customer Support

a. Customer Inquiries: If the customer has any questions or concerns about our policy on returned damaged items, they are encouraged to contact us for clarification.

6. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction

We are committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience when shopping with us. Our policy regarding damaged item returns without a refund is in place to maintain the quality of our products and protect against potential misuse or abuse of our return process.

Click & Collects Refund Policy

  • Click and collect orders will be held in our Waterford store for 14 days from the date of you being sent a notification to say that your order is ready to collect.
  • After the 14 days, you will be notified and given a further 7 days to collect your order.
  • After those 7 days, if your order still hasn’t been collected, it will be refunded and a €10 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • If you wish to have your click and collect order posted out, a shipping fee will be applied.
  • If you wish to cancel your Click & Collect order after it has been fulfilled, a €10 restocking fee will still be applied.
