Job Title: Sales Assistant/Online Order Fulfilment

Location: Waterford city

Position: 2 days a week, covering the odd Saturday and public holidays. This is a seasonal job to cover the busy Summer months from May- August (with the possibility of the position extending)

We're currently on the look out for an enthusiastic and hardworking Shop Assistant/Online Fulfilment Assistant to join our team. The primary function is to oversee the daily operational needs of our Waterford shop as a whole, on a daily basis you will be serving customers and fulfilling online postal orders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive an excellent in-store customer experience
  • Handling till, cash, card transactions and refunds
  • Maximising sales through pre-empting customer needs and assisting with styling and offering advice to customers
  • Liaising with the owner to ensure adequate levels of replenishment stock is available
  • Managing the stock delivery process and unboxing/steaming new arrivals
  • Ensure store merchandising and mannequins are updated weekly
  • Retrieve items from the inventory based on customer orders, carefully inspect and prepare clothing, accessories for packaging
  • Package items with care, ensuring they are presented attractively and protected during transit, label packages with accurate shipping information and ensure they are ready for shipment
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking merchandise and conducting regular stock check
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packing materials and storage spaces
  • Keep the shop clean and make sure it is presentable at all times
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline order fulfilment processes and meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, both bricks & mortar and eCommerce an advantage
  • A genuine passion for fashion, styling and retail/working with people
  • Innovative with an innate capacity for organisation, time management and problem solving
  • An ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexibility to cover shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
  • Working hours 10.30-5.30 per day
