Job Title: Sales Assistant/Online Order Fulfilment

Location: Waterford city

Position: Flexi-time 2 days a week, with the possibility of covering odd weekends and public holidays. 

We're currently on the look out for a sound and hardworking Shop Assistant/Online Fulfilment Officer to join our team. The primary function is to oversee the daily operational needs of our Waterford store as a whole, encompassing the various roles of assisting customers in the shop to fulfilling online orders. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive an excellent in-store customer experience.
  • Handling till, cash and card transactions.
  • Maximising sales through pre-empting customer needs and assisting with styling and offering advice to customers.
  • Liaising with the owner to ensure adequate levels of replenishment stock is available.
  • Managing the stock delivery process and unboxing/steaming new arrivals
  • Ensure store merchandising and mannequins are updated weekly.
  • Retrieve fashion items from inventory based on customer orders.
  • Carefully inspect and prepare clothing, accessories for packaging.
  • Package items with care, ensuring they are presented attractively and protected during transit.
  • Label packages with accurate shipping information and ensure they are ready for shipment.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking merchandise and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packing materials and storage spaces.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline order fulfilment processes and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, both bricks & mortar and eCommerce an advantage
  • A genuine passion for fashion, styling and retail.
  • Innovative with an innate capacity for organisation, time management and problem solving.
  • An ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
